بَابُ مَنْ سَمِعَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَأَفْشَاهَا

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرَى النَّكَالَ عَلَى مَنْ أَشَاعَ الزِّنَا، يَقُولُ‏:‏ أَشَاعَ الْفَاحِشَةَ‏.‏
Ata thought that an exemplary punishment should be carried out on anyone who makes adultery known. He said, "He has made indecency known."
