Al-Adab Al-Mufradقَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ: الْمَاشِيَانِ إِذَا اجْتَمَعَا فَأَيُّهُمَا بَدَأَ بِالسَّلاَمِ فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ.
Jabir said, "When two people walking meet, then the one who gives the greeting first is the better of them."
