33/352 Chapter: Someone should not say, "khabuthat nafsi"* (an expression meaning "I am overcome with nausea")

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ‏:‏ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي، وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ‏:‏ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي‏.‏
A'isha reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None of you should say, 'khAbu that nafsi'. He should say, 'Laqisat nafsi.'"
