بَابُ كَيْفَ رَدُّ السَّلامِ‏؟‏

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ‏:‏ اسْتَأْذَنَ عَمَّارٌ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَعَرَفَ صَوْتَهُ، فَقَالَ‏:‏ مَرْحَبًا بِالطَّيِّبِ الْمُطَيَّبِ‏.‏
Ali said, "'Ammar asked for permission to enter to visit the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Prophet recognised his voice and said, 'Welcome with the best and purest greeting!'"
