حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏‏ الْفِتْنَةُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا ‏"‏‏‏ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ‏‏

Narrated Ibn `Umar:

I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Afflictions will emerge from here," pointing towards the East.
