Sahih

Narrated Anas

We provoked a rabbit at Mar-az-Zahrân till it started jumping and the people ran after it but were exhausted. I over-powered and caught it, and gave it to Abu Talḥa who slaughtered it and sent its hip or two thighs to Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) who accepted it. In another quotation it is said that the Prophet (ﷺ) ate from it. [3:746-O.B]
