باب قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) : أَنَا أَعْلَمُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ

عَنْ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: أَهْدَى إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ (ﷺ) حُلَّةٌ سِيَرَاءَ، فَلَبِسْتُهَا، فَرَأَيْتُ الْغَضَبَ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَشَقَقْتُهَا بَيْنَ نِسَائِي .

Narrated 'Ali

The Prophet (ﷺ) gave me a silken dress as a gift and I wore it. When I saw the signs of anger on his face, I cut it into pieces and distributed it among my wives. [3:784-O.B]
