عَنِ عبد اللهِ بنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : كَانَتِ الْكِلابُ تُقْبِلُ وَتُدْبِرُ فِي المَسْجِدِ، فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (ﷺ) ، فَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرُدُّونَ شَيْئًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ .

Narrated Abdullâh bin 'Umar

During the lifetime of Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) the " dogs used to urinate and pass through the mosque (come & go), nevertheless they never used to sprinkle water on it. (i.e. urine of the dog) [1:174 (B)-O.B.]
