68. The Book of Patients

1/1 Chapter: How the Divine Inspiration started to be revealed to Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) And the Statement of Allâh: "Verily, We have inspired you (O Muḥammad) as We inspired (Noah) and the Prophet's after him. " (V. 4:163)].

1950

Sahih

Narrated Abu Huraira

Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but he remains patient till Allâh removes his difficulties.) And Al-Fajir (an impious wicked evil-doer) is like a pine tree which keeps hard and straight till Allâh cuts (breaks) it down when He wishes." [7:547-0.B]
