عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بن مالك بن بحَيْنَةَ ، رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَزْدِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ (ﷺ) رَأَى رَجُلًا وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمَّا أنصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ﷺ) لَاتَ بِهِ النَّاسُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ﷺ): (الصُّبْحَ أَرْبَعًا، الصُّبْحَ أَرْبَعًا؟).

Narrated Abdullâh bin Mâlik bin Buḥaina

Narrated Abdullâh bin Mâlik bin Buḥaina who is from Azd tribe, that Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) saw a man praying two Rak'at after the Iqama had been pronounced. When Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) completed the (prayer), the people gathered around him (the Prophet (ﷺ) or that man) and Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him (protestingly), Are there four Rak'at in Fajr prayer? Are there four Rak'at in Fajr prayer?" [1:632-O.B.]
