Sahih (Darussalam)

It was narrated from Ibn "Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) burned the palm trees of Banu Nadir, and cut down Buwairah (the name of their garden). Then Allah revealed the words:

"What you (O Muslims) cut down of the palm trees (of the enemy), or you left them standing..." [59:5]
