Ibn Majahحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ الْمَاءِ وَلاَ يُمْنَعُ نَقْعُ الْبِئْرِ "
It was narrated from Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Surplus water should not be withheld, and neither should surplus water from a well.
