Musnad AhmedIt was narrated that Abu "Ayyash said: Sa"d was asked about selling thin-husked barley for (ordinary) barley or something like that and he said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about selling dried dates for fresh dates and he said: “Does the fresh date shrink when it is dried?” They said: Yes. He said: "Then no.”
