Musnad AhmedThabit bin ‘Umarah narrated that Rabee"ah bin Shaiban said:
I said to al-Husain bin "Ali (رضي الله عنه): Do you remember anything from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)? He said: I climbed up to a room with him and took a date and put it in my mouth, but the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Take it out, for charity is not permissible for us.”
