Musnad AhmedIt was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
On the day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered that the weapons and leather armour be removed from the martyrs, and he said: "Bury them with their blood and garments."
