Musnad AhmedIt was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
The Muslims caught one of the prominent men of the mushrikeen and killed him. They (the mushrikeen) asked to buy back his body and the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade them to do that. Mu'ammal said: The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade them to sell his body.
