10/7 Chapter: When a man from the people comes forward (to lead the prayer) then the ruler comes-should he step back?

4024

Sahih (Darussalam)

It was narrated that Anas said:

"A group of men from 'Ukl, or 'Uraynah, came to the Prophet (ﷺ), and when the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them, he told them to go to some camels and drink their milk and urine. Then they killed the herdsman and stole the camels. He sent (men) after them, and had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes gouged out."
