Abu Dawoodحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ آلِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، بِمَعْنَاهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثَلاَثَةَ نَفَرٍ . زَادَ فَكَانَ لِلْفَارِسِ ثَلاَثَةُ أَسْهُمٍ .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu "Umrah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. But this version has "Three Persons" and added "To the horseman three portions."
