باب المَعَاصِي مِنْ أَمْر الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَلَا يُكَفِّرُ صَاحِبُهَا بِارْتِكَابَهَا إِلَّا بِالشِّرْكِ

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا : أَنَّهَا اسْتَعَارَتْ مِنْ أَسْمَاءَ رَضِيَ الله عَنْهَا قِلادَةٌ فَهَلَكَتْ، فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فِي طَلَبِهَا، فَأَدْرَكَتْهُم الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّوْا بِغَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ، فَلَمَّا أَتَوُا النَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) شَكَوْا ذلِكَ إِلَيْهِ، فَنَزَلَتْ آيَةُ التَّيَمُّم، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ باقي الحديث، وقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي كِتابِ التَّيَمُّم .

Narrated Āisha

Narrated Āisha that she borrowed a necklace from Asma ' and it was lost. Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) sent some of his companions to look for it. During their journey the time of Salât (prayer) was due and they offered the Salât (prayer) without ablution. When they returned to the Prophet (ﷺ) they complained about it. So the Divine Verse of Tayammum was revealed. Then the rest of the narration was mentioned. (See No. 223). [5:117-O.B]
