مختصر صحيح البخاري

2/19 Chapter: The Statement of Allâh: "If two parties (or groups) from among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both. " (V. 49:9) - The Qur'ân.
باب: وَإِنْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ المُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قالَتْ : كانَ يَوْمُ بُعَاثَ يَوْمًا قَدَّمَهُ اللهُ لِرَسُولِهِ ، فَقَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ﷺ) وَقَدِ افْتَرقَ مَلَؤُهُمْ، وَقُتِلَتْ سَرَوَاتُهُمْ وَجُرِّحُوا ، فَقَدَّمَهُ اللَّهُ لِرَسُولِهِ (ﷺ) فِي دُخُولِهِمْ فِي الإِسْلامِ.

Narrated Āisha

The day of Bu'âth [i.e. day of fighting between the two tribes of the (supporters), the ' Aus and Al-Khazraj] was brought about by Allâh for the good of His Messenger (ﷺ) So that when Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) reached (Al-Madîna), the tribes of Al-Madina had already divided and their chiefs had been killed and wounded. So Allâh had brought about the battle for the good of His Messenger (ﷺ) in order that they (i.e. the) might embrace Islâm. [5:121-0.B]
