Sahih Bukhariحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُرَى الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلَ الْعَمَلِ، أَفَلاَ نُجَاهِدُ قَالَ لَكِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْجِهَادِ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ "
Narrated `Aisha:
(That she said), "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! We consider Jihad as the best deed. Should we not fight in Allah's Cause?" He said, "The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj-Mabrur (i.e. Hajj which is done according to the Prophet's tradition and is accepted by Allah).

Sahih Bukhariحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ ذُكِرَ لَهُ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ ـ وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا ـ مَرِضَ فِي يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ فَرَكِبَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ تَعَالَى النَّهَارُ وَاقْتَرَبَتِ الْجُمُعَةُ، وَتَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ
Narrated Nafi:
Ibn 'Umar was once told that Said bin Zaid bin 'Amr bin Nufail, one of the Badr warriors, had fallen ill on a Friday. Ibn 'Umar rode to him late in the forenoon. The time of the Friday prayer approached and Ibn 'Umar did not take part in the Friday prayer.

Sahih Bukhariحَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ رضى الله عنهما كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ ". فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى "."
Narrated Ibn Abi `Aufa:
Whenever a man brought his alms to the Prophet, the Prophet (ﷺ) would say, "O Allah! Bestow Your Blessing upon the family of so-and-so." When my father came to him (with his alms), he said, "O Allah! Bestow Your Blessings upon the family of Abi `Aufa."

Sahih Bukhariحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، أَنَّ الأَعْرَجَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ نَحْنُ الآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ". وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ " لَوِ اطَّلَعَ فِي بَيْتِكَ أَحَدٌ وَلَمْ تَأْذَنْ لَهُ، خَذَفْتَهُ بِحَصَاةٍ فَفَقَأْتَ عَيْنَهُ، مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ جُنَاحٍ "."
Narrated Abu Huraira:
That he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost (on the Day of Resurrection)." And added, "If someone is peeping (looking secretly) into your house without your permission, and you throw a stone at him and destroy his eyes, there will be no blame on you."

Sahih Muslimحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ خَلْدَةَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم جَالِسٌ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَىِ النَّاسِ - قَالَ - فَجَلَسْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَجْلِسَ " . قَالَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْتُكَ جَالِسًا وَالنَّاسُ جُلُوسٌ . قَالَ " فَإِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلاَ يَجْلِسْ حَتَّى يَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " ."
Abu Qatada, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said:
I entered the mosque, when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had been sitting among people, and I also sat down among them. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: What prevented you from offering two rak'ahs (of Nafl prayer) before sitting down? I said: Messenger of Allah, I saw you sitting and people sitting (around you and I, therefore, sat in your company). He (the Holy Prophet) then said: When anyone among you enters the mosque, he should not sit till he has observed two rak'ahs.

Jamiat Tirmidhiحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجَيَّةَ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ الْبَقَرَةُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ، . قُلْتُ فَإِنْ وَلَدَتْ قَالَ اذْبَحْ وَلَدَهَا مَعَهَا . قُلْتُ فَالْعَرْجَاءُ قَالَ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْمَنْسِكَ . قُلْتُ فَمَكْسُورَةُ الْقَرْنِ قَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ أُمِرْنَا أَوْ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَسْتَشْرِفَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ وَالأُذُنَيْنِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ .
Narrated Hujayyah bin 'Adi:
"Ali said: 'A cow is for seven.' I said: "And if it gives birth?' He said: 'Then slaughter its offspring with it.' I said: 'What if it is lame?' He said: 'When it has reached the place of ritual.' I said: 'What if it has a broken horn?' He said: 'There is no harm, we were ordered' - or - 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered us, to check the two eyes and the two ears.'"

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone swears on oath is the course which he says: "By al-Lat" he should say: There is no god but Allah, and that if anyone says to his friend: Come and let me play for money with you, he should give something in charity (sadaqah).

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn 'Umar through a different chain of narrators to the same effect up to the words "by your fathers". This version adds:
" 'Umar said: I swear by Allah, I never swore by it personally or reporting it from others."

Abu Isma'il said:
"Yahya narrated to us that Abu Salamah narrated to him, from Jabir bin 'Abdullah, from the Prophet of Allah who said: 'A lifelong gift belongs to the one to whom it was given.'"

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:
"I was thinking of not accepting gifts except from a Quraishi, an Ansari, a Thaqafi or a Dawsi."

Musnad AhmedIt was narrated that "Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will call the debtor on the Day of Resurrection and make him stand before Him, then He will say: O My slave, how did you dispose of the people"s money? He will say: O Lord, You know that I did not squander it: rather it was lost in a flood or a fire, or it was stolen or lost (in trade). Then Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will call for something and will put it in his balance, and his good deeds will outweigh it.”

"Allah with call the debtor on the Day of Resurrection until he is made to stand before Him, and it will be said: O son of Adam, why did you take this debt? Why did you neglect people"s dues? He will say: O Lord, You know that I took it but I did not use it for food or drink or clothing, and 1 was not negligent, but what happened to me was a fire or theft or loss (in trade). Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, will say: My slave has spoken the truth, I am the most deserving to pay it off for you today, Then Allah will call for something and will put it in the pan of his balance, and his good deeds will outweigh his bad deeds, then he will enter Paradise by grace of His mercy.”

Musnad AhmedIt was narrated from Ibn Abu Najeeh that his father told him that
someone who heard "AbdurRahman bin Abi Bakr told him that [the latter] said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Ride this she-camel and put your sister behind you, then when you come down from the hill of at-Tan’eem, both of you should enter ihram and come here." That was on the day when the pilgrims do the tawaf of farewell before leaving Makkah.

Musnad AhmedIt was narrated from Hafsah the daughter of ‘AbdurRahman bin Abi Bakr, from her father, that
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to ‘Abdur-Rahman: "Put your sister - meaning "A"ishah - behind you on your mount and take her for "Umrah from at-Tan"eem. When you bring her down from the hill, tell her to enter ihram, and it will be an "Umrah that will be accepted by Allah."
