Evidence that the one who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad (ﷺ) as his prophet, then he is a believer, even if he commits major sins

بَاب الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَإِنْ ارْتَكَبَ الْمَعَاصِيَ الْكَبَائِرَ

وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، - قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، - عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ نَهَاهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْوِصَالِ رَحْمَةً لَهُمْ ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏‏ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكُمْ إِنِّي يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي ‏"‏ ‏‏
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) forbade them (his Companions) to observe Saum Wisal out of mercy for them. They said: You (Holy Prophet) yourself observe it. Upon this he said: I am not like you. My Lord feeds me and provides me drink.
