Evidence that the one who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad (ﷺ) as his prophet, then he is a believer, even if he commits major sins

بَاب الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَإِنْ ارْتَكَبَ الْمَعَاصِيَ الْكَبَائِرَ

وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ - عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏‏ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ لْيُخَالِفْ إِلَى مَقْعَدِهِ فَيَقْعُدَ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ يَقُولُ افْسَحُوا ‏"‏ ‏‏
Jabir reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:
None amongst you should make his brother stand on Friday (during the congregational prayer) and then occupy his-place. but he should only say to him (Accommodate me).
