Bulugh al-Maramوَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِأَحْمَدَاِقْطَعُوا فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ, وَلَا تَقْطَعُوا فِيمَا هُوَ أَدْنَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ"(1597)
In a version by Ahmad, "Cut off a thief's hand for a quarter of Dinar, and do not cut it off for what is less than that."
