باب مَا جَاءَ فِي دُعاءِ النَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) أُمَّتَهُ إِلَى تَوْحِيدِ الله

88/1 Chapter: What has been said about the Prophet (ﷺ) inviting his followers (nation) to Allâh i.e., Islâmic Monotheism (worshiping none but Allâh Alone.)

باب مَا جَاءَ فِي دُعاءِ النَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) أُمَّتَهُ إِلَى تَوْحِيدِ الله

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا زوج النَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ (ﷺ) بَعَثَ رَجُلًا عَلَى سَرِيَّةٍ، وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ لِأَصْحَابِهِ في صَلاتِهِ فَيَخْتِمُ بِـ «قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ». فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا ذَكَرُوا ذلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) فَقَالَ : سَلُوهُ) لِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ). فَسَأَلُوهُ فَقَالَ : لِأَنَّهَا صِفَةُ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَأَنَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ بِهَا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ (ﷺ): (أَخْبِرُوهُ أَنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّهُ ) .

Narrated Āisha

The Prophet (ﷺ) sent (an army unit) under the command of a man who used to lead his companions in the (prayers) and would finish his recitation with (the Sûrah 112): ' Say (O Muḥammad): " He is Allâh, (the) One." (V.112:1) When they returned (from the battle), they mentioned that to the Prophet (ﷺ) He said (to them), "Ask him why he does so." They asked him and he said, "I do so because it mentions the qualities of the Most Beneficent and I love to recite it [in my (prayer)]. The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to them), Tell him that Allâh loves him ". [9:472-O.B]

باب قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو القُوَّةِ المَتِينُ)

88/2 Chapter: The Statement of Allâh: "Verily ! Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong " (V.51:58)

باب قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو القُوَّةِ المَتِينُ)

عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قالَ النَّبِيُّ (ﷺ): ما أَحَدٌ أَصْبَرُ عَلَى أَذِى سَمِعَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ، يَدَّعُونَ لَهُ الْوَلَدَ ، ثُمَّ يُعَافِيهِمْ وَيَرْزُقُهُمْ).

Narrated Abu Mûsa Al-Ash'arî

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None is more patient than Allâh against the harmful and annoying words He hears (from the people): They ascribe a son (offspring or children) to Him, yet He bestows upon them health and provision ". [9:475-0.B]

باب: قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : ﴿وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ) وقوله : (سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُون) وقوله : (والله الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ)

88/3 Chapter: The Statements of Allâh:- "And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. " (V.14:4) "Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power. (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him. " (V.37:180). "But Honour, Power and Glory belong to Allâh and His Messenger (ﷺ).... " (V.63:8)

باب: قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : ﴿وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ) وقوله : (سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُون) وقوله : (والله الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ)

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ (ﷺ) كَانَ يَقُولُ : (أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ، الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ، وَالْجِنُّ وَالإِنْسُ يَمُوتُونَ).

Narrated Ibn Abbâs

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, seek refuge (with You) by Your ' Izzat (Honour, Power and Glory) La ilâha illâ Anta, (none has the right to be worshipped but You), Who does not die while the jinns and the human beings die." " [9:480-O.B]

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ (ﷺ) قَالَ: لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللهُ الخَلْقَ، كَتَبَ فِي كِتَابِهِ، وَهُوَ يَكْتُبُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، وَهُوَ وَضْعٌ عِنْدَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ : إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي تَغْلِبُ غَضَبِي).

Narrated Abu Huraira

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When Allâh created the Creation, He wrote in His Book that is placed on the Throne with Him and He prescribed for Himself: 'Verily My Mercy has overcome My Anger." " [9:501-0.B]

وَعَنْهُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قالَ النَّبِيُّ (ﷺ): (يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنُّ عَبْدِي بِي، وَأَنَا مَعَهُ إِذَا ذَكَرَنِي، فَإِنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي نَفْسِهِ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي نَفْسِي ، وَإِنْ ذَكَرَنِي فِي مَلَإٍ ذَكَرْتُهُ فِي مَلَا خَيْرٍ مِنْهُمْ، وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ شِبْرًا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ ذِرَاعًا، وَإِنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ ذِرَاعًا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ بَاعًا، وَإِنْ أَتَانِي يَمْشِي أَتَيْتُهُ هَرْوَلَةٌ).

Narrated Abu Huraira

Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allâh says: ' I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e., I am Able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people I remember him in a group that is better than them; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running." " [9:502-O.B]

باب: قوله تَعَالَى: ﴿وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ الله نَفْسَهُ). وقَولَ الله تَعَالَى : (تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلَا أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ)

88/4 Chapter: The Statement of Allâh:-" And Allâh warns you against Himself (i.e., from His punishment). " (V.3:28) And the Statement of Allâh:-You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours. " (V.5:116)

باب: قوله تَعَالَى: ﴿وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ الله نَفْسَهُ). وقَولَ الله تَعَالَى : (تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلَا أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ)
