1/1 Chapter: How the Divine Inspiration started to be revealed to Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) And the Statement of Allâh: "Verily, We have inspired you (O Muḥammad) as We inspired (Noah) and the Prophet's after him. " (V. 4:163)].
باب: كَيْفَ كَانَ بَدْءُ الْوَحْيِ إِلَى رَسُول الله ﷺ

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْها قَالَتْ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (ﷺ) عَنِ البِنْعِ وَهُوَ نَبيذُ العَسَلِ، وَكَانَ أَهْلُ اليَمَنِ يَشْرَبُونَهُ، فَقالَ رَسولُ اللهِ (ﷺ): (كُلُّ شَرَابٍ أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ).

Narrated Aisha

Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) was asked about Al-Bit '; a liquor prepared from honey which the Yemenites used to drink. Allâh's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "All drinks that intoxicate are unlawful (to drink). [7:492 (A)-O.B]
