باب: الْمُسْلِمُ مَن سَلِمَ المُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ

عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ (ﷺ) يَقُولُ: (مَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اسْتَرْعاهُ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةٌ، فَلَمْ يَحُطْهَا بِنُصْحِهِ ، إِلا لَمْ يَجِدْ رَائِحَةَ الجَنَّةِ).

Narrated Ma'qil bin Yasâr

I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Any man whom Allâh has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never have even the smell of Paradise." [9:264-O.B]
